FTMTA announce its annual Show
The FTMTA (Farm Tractor & Machinery Traders Association) has today confirmed the dates for its 2023 Farm Machinery Show. The show will take place outdoors in Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co. Kildare on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July 2023. Now in its 20th year, the event is firmly established as the flagship occasion of the Irish farm machinery show calendar, drawing over 7,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors when it last took place.
Farmec will be exhibiting at the show and we are delighted to be bringing some truly impressive machinery to Punchestown this year. Our headline display will be the SIP Silvercut Disc 1500 T combination disc mowing outfit, which makes its Irish show debut at this year's event. Boasting a cutting width of 14.55 metres (48 feet) across five cutter beds and a total weight of 9,100kg, it is the world's widest combination disc mowing unit. The machine will be coupled to a JCB 8330 tractor on the day and requires a minimum of 350hp to operate — a genuine statement of what modern grassland machinery is capable of.
Alongside the Silvercut, the Farmec stand will feature the full SIP grassland range, including SIP Spider tedders, Star rakes, and the SIP Air merger with a 9-metre working width. Whether you are running a large dairy or mixed enterprise, there will be something on our stand to interest you. Our team will be on hand throughout both days to discuss the full range, talk through specifications, and arrange demonstrations.
The FTMTA show is organised by the trade for the farmer and contractor, and with all major manufacturers confirmed to attend, it promises to be an outstanding two days for anyone involved in Irish agriculture. We look forward to welcoming customers old and new to the Farmec stand at Punchestown this July.
